flip & roll was established by Hong Kong artist in 2017. We are an independent publishing studio. It provides risograph and other printing process services, aiming to create alternative unconventional paper artworks and promote small batches of unique publications. Persevere in printing, immerse one’s in art, and let the charm of printing art be presented to the public.

Moved to Kowloon Bay with larger studio space, acquired more post-production and binding machines flip & roll press 2.0 — to create alternative print works, and an autonomous small-scale publishing environment to organise a series of events for the public to participate and experience

ABOUT CHUN

Chun graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Communication Design in 2013. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant, graphic designer and illustrator, responsible for brand design, packaging design and book design. His works has won international recognition from DFA Design for Asia Awards and German Design Award-Winner. Chun established FLIP & ROLL in 2017, which is a graphic design and publication studio covering book production and publication, paper product development, workshop activities and exhibition production. Currently, he is also a part-time tutor in HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity.
